The pianist

A short poem.

by Marcus Jonathan Chapman

The pianist
Presses
Amazing Grace
bartenders
clean glasses
waitresses
carry drinks
Stoolers
Cross legs
Fold hands
Check phones
Pull up masks
An old man
pushes a dollar
In the tip jar
And the pianist
Presses
Amazing Grace
